Never-before-seen photographs from Rock's heyday
Baltimore-based photographer David Amos presents a suite of photographs, Muses Past, that he originally developed in the 1970s but has never printed or exhibited until now. The series features musicians David Bowie, Elton John, the Manhattan Transfer, and Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull at concerts held in Baltimore and Philadelphia. Each image is accompanied by a personal account of the photograph’s creation as well as the artist’s memories of an East Coast in a now bygone era. An opening reception will be held Saturday, May 5 from 6-9 p.m.
